Springetts Arcade is still the heart beat of Bowral. The Arcade is still unique with the original developer and managing director, Ted Springett, playing the piano in the Arcade each Saturday morning.

The comments he and his fellow piano players, Ian, Julian Lee and Hosea receive from arcade visitors is astounding. Women and men have tears running down their faces as Ted plays one of their old favourites.

When Ted plays a duet with Ian or Julian, the crowd gathers and gives them a big applaud at the end of the performance.

Ted also invites aspiring young pianists to join him on stage for a special duet. Many younger kids have a great time teaching Ted some new tunes.

No one else in the Highlands or probably any where else in NSW has this unique event happening each and every Saturday.
