Perfect in every possible way! Umbrella Installation inspires shoppers to look up!

After enjoying a tiptoe through the tulips, visitors experience a feast for the  eyes looking skyward with this aerial indoor installation featuring more than 70 suspended umbrellas on the skylights of the historic arcade.  The artwork is a beautiful experience for visitors to the arcade and a must-see tribute to the Mary Poppins theme of Tulip Time 2019.  Visitors are invited to spot the handmade 2-metre by 1-metre suspended kite, which is a nod to the classic Mary Poppins movie. Installation will remain up through Tulip Time.

Kids from 0 to 92 are enjoying the colours of the umbrellas and loving the chance to pose with the umbrellas.  Southern Highlands local Eliza Galway (pictured) proclaimed the umbrellas – “Spectacular!”

The installation was executed by the talented team from from Mittagong-based Luminous Entertainment who made the vision a reality and perfect in almost every possible way.  It is an excellent compliment to the Tulip Time-themed chalk art mural by artist Jenny McCracken on the Gallery Level on the Eastern wing.
