Don’t miss this chance to showcase one of your talented year 6 students’ artworks in the historic Springett’s Arcade. We want to inspire art to live on by fostering the creativity of our young community.

The top Six winners of Participating Schools will have a banner displayed!
When you agree to participate your Year 6 students will have the chance to create an artwork that represents: “Your Favourite hobby/past time in the Southern Highlands.” This can be an activity, annual event or location within the Southern Highlands (Share the Artwork Set Up Requirements document with your Year 6 teacher(s) for more inspiration and as guide for teachers).
Then, you can choose and submit one winner from your school and that student’s artwork will be judged. * The top six winners’ works are to be showcased with school crest on hanging banners for the whole community to see in Springett’s Arcade for the Back-to-School Season (January – April 2026).
Plus, one grand winner will also receive a day creating the iconic featured chalk art in the arcade with a professional chalk artist.
The students’ works should include a description of what they have created and why they think it is the most inspirational place in the Southern Highlands.
Let their imaginations run wild!
