Springett’s Arcade Winter Food Drive
Springett’s Arcade Winter Food Drive is running from June to August 2026, inviting shoppers, tenants and the wider Southern Highlands community to donate pantry and personal care items in support of OzHarvest Southern Highlands.
As the colder months settle into Bowral, many local families are facing increased pressure. Through this winter initiative, Springett’s Arcade is helping collect much-needed everyday items for people experiencing food insecurity across the region.
The food drive is a simple way for the community to make a meaningful difference. Whether you are visiting the arcade for coffee, shopping with the family, stopping in for an appointment or passing through town, even one extra item can help.
What to donate?
OzHarvest Southern Highlands has advised that non-perishable pantry items are especially helpful, including:
Long-life milk, rice, pasta, breakfast cereal, tinned fruit and vegetables, baked beans, tinned tuna, salmon or chicken, tea, coffee, biscuits, chunky soups, pasta sauces, Vegemite and peanut butter.
Personal care items are also welcome, including toothpaste, soap, washing products and everyday hygiene essentials.
Please ensure all donations are unopened, non-perishable, within date and easy to carry. Items should be left unwrapped, and food containing alcohol cannot be accepted.
Where to drop off donations?
Donations for the Springett’s Arcade Winter Food Drive can be dropped to the Springett’s Arcade Management Office, Suite 107 on the Gallery Level, throughout June, July and August 2026.
Every donation, big or small, will help OzHarvest Southern Highlands support local people doing it tough this winter.
Bring the family and make it part of your visit!
Springett’s Arcade is home to a wide range of local retailers, food outlets, services and community spaces, making it easy to contribute while visiting the arcade. Families are encouraged to bring children along and involve them in choosing a pantry item to donate, helping make community giving feel simple, practical and close to home.
A tin of soup, a packet of pasta or a box of cereal may seem small, but when the community comes together, those items can make a real difference.
